Developing a GPS-Based Interactive Adventure

A geo-location mobile game that immerses players in a global mystery adventure using GPS, maps, and augmented reality. Played in 55+ countries, it turns real-world exploration into a puzzle-solving journey through hidden clues and interactive storytelling.

End-To-End UX

I conducted user interviews to uncover pain points, then used those insights to guide early design. I led both remote and in-person usability testing, designed the full UI from wireframes to final screens, and built a design system to support future scalability.

Understanding Player Needs

Research revealed that players often felt lost or uncertain about what to do next. I used this insight to streamline the interface and improve guidance, making the game more approachable and easier to navigate.

Laying The Foundations

With a clearer direction, I mapped user journeys and created wireframes in Figma. Early testing helped catch issues upfront, saving time and speeding up the design process.

From Concepts To Final UI

I transformed the wireframes into a polished UI, clean, intuitive, and aligned with the game’s visual style. The final design was easy to navigate and optimized for mobile.

Design System for Consistency and Collaboration

I built a shared design system with core components and styles to support faster updates, reduce duplication, and keep the team aligned throughout development.

Launch To Growth

Following a strong launch and positive user feedback, I continued refining the design based on player insights. I also organised Figma files and streamlined developer handoff to support faster, smoother updates.
